Collection 2000 Lasting Perfection Concealer Review

Hey Beauties!

I have taken a little longer to blog about this but I wanted to be totally sure before I said anything! I think I  have the best drug store concealer you could buy its called Collection 2000 Lasting Perfection Concealer, a lot of you will already know about this but it really is such an amazing product.

Before I start there is one thing I don't like and its not about the product its the packaging well more so the label its like the more you use the product the label rubs off you can see from Shade 1- Fair the label is almost gone

It comes in 4 different shades:- Fair, Light, Medium and Deep which isn't much to choose from but the formula is something i really love, Its so soft and so blendable. I find my self not only using them as concealers but the first shade makes a really great highlighter as well as it is a skin tone colour but not white so it looks natural but highlighted

Collection 2000 says this concealer will last for 16 hours but honestly who wears their makeup for 16 hours a day? i dont think you will get 16 hours of wear from it but it is long lasting i have done photoshoots where its lasts 6 hours under the hot studio lights ((and that's saying how good it can hold up))

It has a doe foot applicator like a concealer but a a Makeup Artist i cant use it this way but if you are only using on yourself its a great idea because its precise and distributes the product evenly

One thing i really like using this concealer for is using it under the eyes as it blends well and doesn't crease it has great coverage i would say medium coverage but it doesn't cake up but just to be safe i would always use less product and build because its easier to add than take away product

I really think this has to be one of the best drug store concealers out there I have tried a few and not many have lived up to my expectations apart from this concealer which is really affordable and works really well

Collection 2000 Lasting Perfection Concealer is available from most drugstores and is £4.19 which to me is a great price for a great concealer.

What is your favourite Concealer?
Have you tried this? what did you think?

Save or Splurge- MAC 195 and Daler Rowney 10

Hey Beauties!
I thought i would do another post on affordable dupes, I was in hobbycraft recently ((its like Michaels or Hobbylobby in the US )) anyway I found this awesome brush that really looked like the MAC 195 Concealer Brush so I had to buy it and show you guys. I first found out about Daler Rowney because of a brush Alex Box used in a behind the scenes video and i had to have it, to be honest i think its better than my Chanel Liner brush ((You can see the comparison here))

I really like how they both feel the same, look the same apart from the Daler Rowney is a bit narrower then the MAC 195 but its hardly noticeable but the thing that does make me happy is the fact that the MAC 195 is £17 in the UK whereas the Daler Rowney 10 brush is only £5 so you are saving of like £12
You could have 3 of these brushes for the price of 1 MAC brush which is slightly insane when you think about it!

What do you think of these brushes?
What one would you rather use?

La Roche Posay Toleriane Eye Makeup Remover

Hey Beauties!

I found these in boots a while back and i have to say this has to be my favourite eye makeup remover just because it so gentle it can be used by people who have really sensitive skin and those who wear contact lenses without any reactions or irritation which is a big thing for me because I dont want the models I work on to react to anything I use

They are little individual tubes of makeup remover that are sterile and sanitary for people to use. I thought the idea of them being in little tubes was a great idea because you dont have to carry big bottles and you can just hand them out if you want models to take the makeup off or you can give one to a client for the end of the day which i think is just really handy

As i said above i got them from Boots in Glasgow, you get 30 little individal tubes containing 5ml of product in each for £13.50 which is a great deal because i remember La Roche Posay being really expensive a while ago so im glad it is now in boots

Do you think this is a good idea?

Chantecaille Cheek Crème Review

Hey Beauties!
I know I haven't blogged since Christmas, my laptop has broken but i will be getting it fixed soon so right now im using my mums laptop to blog.

I thought i would do a review on my one of my favourite Cream blushes that i use in my Kit, its the Chantecaille Cheek Crème which is quite expensive its a luxury product but its totally worth it. Lisa Eldridge was the one who introduced me to Chantecaille and from then on i have been obsessed with their products they are simply amazing, expensive but amazing!

These cheek creams are really quite unlike anything i have used before. Like most cream cheek products they tend to be quite shiny and apply with a bit of a sheen but these dont they feel like Velvet almost and are matte in texture but have a little sparkle to them. They contain White Lily Bulb and Peach extracts that sheild the skin from harmful anti-oxidants

I have the shades in Shy and Coy which are really natural and can be used on anyone with Light to Medium skin tones. What surprised me about these was how well they blended and how well they stayed on the skin once applied.

As you arnt super pigmented but they have just the right amount of pigment for natural everyday look or even for bridal as they are very natural, although the Chantecaille says they can be built up in colour so it depends how you want to use them

The Chantecaille Cheek Crème are £29 for 3 grams of product, expensive but if you can afford this product its well worth it

What do you think of these?
What is your favourite Cream Blush?
