How to Create Burns- Video Tutorial

Hey Gorgeous Beauties!

So it has been a few months since i had last done a YouTube Video so i thought on a whim last night i would do one for the sake of it. I did a burn tutorial showing you how to create a burn for whenever you might need it
Tell me what you think? and you need to know the proper removal procedures when dealing with latex! Ill list the things after products.
So your going to need certain products to create this look. I used:

    • Kryolan Liquid Latex (its low in ammonia)
    • Kryolan Bruise and Burn Wheel- Any Red's Purples, Browns, Black which are Grease Paints
    • Tissue Paper
    • Powder
    • Hairdryer
    • Q-Tips (Cotton Buds)
    • Something to mix on and in
    • Stipple Sponge

REMOVAL AND DISPOSAL
When removing you can either just peel it off, it isnt on hair but if it is then you will need to use an oil based remover such as Pro-Clean but you can use basic oil but it will take longer to get off. Clean blood off with a wipe and dont scrub because your skin will be more sensitive than it usually is.

Disposal- When cleaning up NEVER! pour latex down the sink as it can block and harm the pipes. Use a hairdryer to set the latex then peel it off and throw it in the bin nothing should ever be poured down the sink that is a thick as this.

What do you think of this tutorial?
Do you think you would give it a try?

Review- Clarins Eye Contour Gel

Hey Gorgeous Beauties!
Not long till December now!...ahh Christmas<3

So today im going to talk about a product i really love, its a gel which is applied under the eyes which says it "Helps to control dark circles and puffiness" which I though why not give it a go. so i bought it took it home and did a test on my mum with it and to be honest we were impressed with the Results.

Here is a before and after shot when we used the Eye Contour Gel:
As you can see my mum has quite bad puffiness and the gel did its best to calm the puffiness and i think it did an amazing job, it didnt completely get them away but they did a good job the pigmentation has been calmed and it has been de-puffed (haha)

The Eye Contour Gel contains 20ml of product and is sold for £26.50 but is great as you only need a tiny bit  and it does an amazing job
You can purchase it at a Clarins Counter or Online by Clicking here

It might look like a big box but it really isnt, its about as small as my iPhone maybe smaller but its an amazing Product.

It is a sort of blue-green gel that dries in clear, it doesnt leave an oily patches or anything it just leaves the skin nice and refreshed, for best results the sales assistant in Clarins said that "if you put it in the fridge and take it out when you want to use it you could get better results."

Have you tried this before?
What did you think of it?

Vivo Cosmetics Review

Hey Beauties, how are you all today i am doing a review!...of a surprisingly good brand for the price its called Vivo Cosmetics and is available in Tesco in the Cosmetics Aisle.

Vivo Cosmetic's Products range from £1.50 to something like £6, I think. I have to say i was pleasantly surprised when i seen how good these products were. I bought 5 of the Eyeshadows, A palette, Eyelashes, Concealer Palette.

Single Eyeshadows

  • These eyeshadows in my opinion are amazing, the pigmentation is amazing but i do find that with some of the matte shades they arnt as bright as maybe the Pearl Shades.
  • They are £1.50 each and you get 3.8g of product which is quite good as MAC has only 1.5g
  • I find they are super solid, they are quite soft and silky, quite amazing to apply and blend
  • Not to mention the packaging is pretty cute!
  • I got the shades- Purple Passion, Electric Purple, Rich Chocolate, Slate, Aqua Marine
Packaging of The Single Eyeshadow
Some people have said they do not like the packaging for the Vivo items but i personally thing the packaging for the Eyeshadows are gorgeous and practical as well because instead of having a little clip to click it closed it doesn't have that it just closes around the edges as you can see. I think that's a great idea because there is nothing to break off if you drop it.

Swatches!

How gorgeous are these honestly! I love the Purple Pink shade (Electric Purple) it reminds of a lipstick by Illamasqua called Underworld and has the same finish!

Eyeshadow Palette
  • Again these Eyeshadow's are amazing! These are even more softer but so much more pigmented as well, you know i love pigmentation!
  • You get 3 Eyeshadows for £5 each containing about 1g each so that's 4g if you count packaging
  • On the back it tells you what shadow is which and where you apply it with visual and written instructions which i never follow but its always good for those who need it
  • I have to give a special mention to the white! it is so amazing so pigmented and such a nice highlight colour

Ultimate Base Concealer Kit
  • I think this little kit is ok if im honest not the best but hey im happy
  • The Kit costs £5 for 5.5g in all and contains 2 shades of concealer, 1 powder and a mini Highlighter
  • You would not think but the highlighter is quite nice, it reminds me of something like Strobe Liquid or Stobe Cream
  • The Powder is good really pigmented so good for setting
  • Coverage leaves a lot to be desired. It isn't as good as i would have hoped but does give coverage to an extent
Lashes
  • The one thing I didn't really like was the lashes, sorry to say but these are a no go for me
  • They were to Rigid for me. They wouldn't stay in place, as i placed one part down another popped up
  • The Glue is horrible, its a too sticky, doesn't set quick enough and is quite thick
  • Not a big loss as i think they were only around £1.50 ((must remember to keep Receipts hah))
  • A good thing though is they were soo pretty but .... don't work at all
Pretty...but no

So thats what i got from Vivo, they are an amazing brand apparently branding themselves the MAC of the drugstore. I think the quality of the products are fantastic and i would like to buy more as i really do love the Single Eyeshadows!

Have you tried Vivo Cosmetics?
What do you think?

MAC Strobe Cream

Strobe Cream Review!

Hey Beauties sorry I haven't posted in a while, i've been thinking about personal stuff so yeah back now!

So today i thought i would talk about an awesome product i recently bought and love. I had heard a lot of good things about it and how versatile it is.
-Taken from the MAC website-

"The ultimate quick fix for the skin. Super-powered with potent botanicals; de-snoozes, de-stresses, moistens, freshens and boosts the look of dull, flat or tired-looking skin with a fully loaded vitamin zap and a mega dose of green tea. Brightens and clarifies with iridescent particles and antioxidants. Enhances the effects of light on all skin and in all lighting conditions from sunlight to spotlight."

I love this stuff its amazing it is sold as a Moisturising cream with light reflective properties it can be used in different ways such as:

  • Moisturiser- I have still to use it in this way.
  • Highlighter - Strobe Cream gives such a nice sheen to the skin it has a pink-silver sheen to it and would be amazing on mature skin because its packed with skin helping ingredients as well as a pretty highlight
  • Mixed with Foundation- If you mix Strobe Cream with your Foundation it will make your foundation more dewy, it makes it look so amazing. When mixed your foundation will have the sheen and it will brighten up your skin and would be a great idea for people will dull skin.
Mixed with Illamasqua Skin Base
I would suggest getting it if you can afford it at £12 but I would suggest not buying it if you have overly oily skin because this product will make you look like a disco ball (haha).
Swatch of Strobe Cream

For those who might think this would be too thick for them there is also a liquid version but i don't own this so i couldn't compare but Strobe Liquid is £21.50 where as the cream is only £12

What do you think of Strobe?
Do you like it? or what would you rather use?

Review- Benefit HighBeam

Hey Beauties! <3
Thought I would do a post on my Favourite highlighter of all time! I got this a few weeks ago maybe last month even but since then nothing else compares.

So Benefit Highbeam comes in a small-ish bottle and contains 15 ml of product which i think is quite good because you wont be using a ton of this. Highbeam is insanely pigmented and has such a nice pinky colour to it but once it is blended in, it has a nice glow to it but doesn't really show the pink in it. it comes with a little brush just like the Bene-tint but i find that if you use the brush with this it doesn't work so what you do is put it on the back of your hand and then with your finger dab it on your cheek bones and tap on it to blend a little

As I said it has a pinky-peachy colour to it but once blended it looks quite natural and gives amazing cheek bones to those who may not have any.

Unblended
Blended in
I have to say i really love this product and would recommend it to everyone because it just gives the skin such a gorgeous natural glow depending on how much you actually use ((in the picture i used more than you would normally to show it))
I would rate this maybe 8/10 because it is great but i find it doesn't last too long or as long as i would like

Benefit Highbeam retails for £18.50 and can be bought at any Benefit counter (Boots, House of Fraser, John Lewis etc) or from the Benefit Cosmetics Website ((UK)) or ((USA))

What do you think of Highbeam?
What is your Favourite Highlighter?
