Bobbi Brown Corrector

Hello, Gorgeous People!! <3
So im back and im going to showing you a wonderful product, its the Bobbi Brown Corrector.
I had heard alot of good things about these Correctors that they were amazing for Dark Circles under the eyes to help them "vanish" and i agree it does a really good job!

How to apply: -

    • First, you will want to apply the corrector to places you need say dark circles or blue tones covered up you place a small amount of this on the face with a brush ((I find patting it on with a brush or blending with a MAC 224 works best))
    • Once the corrector is on, now you move on to concealer just go about how you would normally do your concealer, Conceal over the Corrector. The good thing about the corrector that it doesn't or shouldn't cake up so you can put the corrector then concealer
    • Blend Blend Blend ((But not to much hehe))
    • Final Step- Powder your concealer to set it into place
I honestly think these are such a god send to people who feel they have bad undereye circles or blue-ness in there face or eye area.
They are quite expensive but thats the good thing, a little goes a really long way the container might look small but you wont need much and in my opinion i think this product really is one of a kind ((apart from the Eve Pearl Salmon Concealer))

I think this colour would be too dark on some people but there are lighter version.

-TIP!-
If your going out in drag this halloween or you do drag regularly, if you cover your brows as normal but you have dark brows and can still see some dark colour in them put this corrector over before you conceal then conceal as normal and the Peachy/salmon colour should cancel out the brown/darkness in your brows

NARS Illuminators

These Illuminators are seriously amazing, they are so multi-purpose some can be used as blush, highlight, to add  a sheer glow to your foundation, a liquid type bronzer.
When you put them on your skin they look amazing, they give such an amazing glow to the skin they are insanely pigmented so only a little bit is needed if you use to much these are one of those "it could go really wrong" products so be careful!

I got the colour, Copacabana and it is the most gorgeous colour i have ever seen!

                                                Copacabana

Look how pearlescent the colour is, it looks really nice blended into the skin, thats the colour just smoothed over the skin to give a idea of how it looks. It looks so natural on the skin a nice healthy glow, i love it as a highlighter after contour because it is light reflective so its amazing.

Taken from the NARS Website: -

Following the success of the Orgasm Illuminator, NARS introduces three new iconic shades to the Illuminator category. This collection of light-reflecting liquids glides on to refresh the skin, enhance the complexion and create a shimmering incandescence.
The Illuminators can be used to highlight bare skin or to light up your makeup as it lights the skin from within.
  • Silky, shimmering highlighters create instant radiance and luminosity
  • Translucent weightless formula makes skin look glowing and refreshed
  • Universally flattering on all skins
  • Can be worn alone or mixed with moisturizer, primer or liquid foundation to provide a subtle luminescence
  • For all skin types
  • Dermatologist tested

You get 30ml in a bottle which is alot, considering you only need a pea sized amount for both cheeks or for mixing with your foundation, each container costs £21.50 which is an awesome price for the size.
I really want to get the other colours, i was given a sample of Super Orgasm and that looks like an awesome colour as well its Peach with a Golden Shimmer/Glitter

Rating: - 9 out of 10

It Gets Better!!

You always hear it gets better, but honestly it does it might not feel like it but its amazing

i always hid who i was or tried to hide who i was i tried to act boyish as i could but sometimes it didn't work out i used to play with barbies and i used to play with heels (yes at 5 i wore my gran's heels....somethings never change haha )
when i was in high school was the worst!, i haaaaaated it dont because of the subjects just the abuse i would get for being different i think i came out to class mates in 6th year but i denied it for so long it was kinda bad i would force myself to like girls and it made me sad and it made me feel ill tbh not because they were ugly just because it wasnt me.

I remember the first time i said it out loud it felt so liberating and so awesome it made it easier to tell other people i mean i told everyone i didnt really hide it much
but....i did hide it from my family i only recently told them i told my mum and what she looked at me and i told her and she said "yeah, when do you want picking up from college" she wasnt phased at all she was like she knew the whole time...doh! ahha

so trust me when i say it gets better
Iin all honesty ive never been happier it such a weight of my chest these days

School is a small part of your life when you leave you will feel better (well i did) people are more accepting i get a few looks yeah ...but fuck them i am who i am
People will still be mean and discourage you but you will get over it and brush it off as nothing cause you will realise....your not the one whos got something wrong with them, the homophobes are the wrong ones

My guess is that they are so scared of change that they cant accept us i think that if we band together and show them we are here and not going anywhere you should accept us
I feel that there was one person who has helped alot they might not have known it but she helped a fucking lot i mean she inspired me to be who i was and dont give a shit what people think :) <3 love you
(PAWS UP!)

http://www.itgetsbetter.org/

I feel everything getting better everyday things falling into place and now i see a light....and the black tunnel of...nothingness is slowly disapearing into nothing! <3

Hangover Help for Guys and Girls!

Hey Guys! just doing a short post today!

So we all like to have a little drink now and then, suddenly one drink turns into 50 ((in Glasgow anyway)) you
wake up in the morning feeling and looking like hell, makeup smeared all over the place, hair everywhere and a thumping head and if your lucky your nauseous too.

So to help with this i have a few little tips!

  • Try to wash off the make-up before you go to bed it will decrease the chance of facial breakouts
  • If you didn't take your make-up off, take it off now scrub and shower! you will feel better
  • Use little make-up just to make your self look healthy and not to look dramatic (rosy blush and lipgloss with a bit of liner)
  • For everyone, make sure you drink lots as Alcohol makes you dehydrated so if you drink more it should lessen the ....pain? a great thing for soothing stomachs! is a banana smoothie, i dont know why but it seems to work that or Lucozade but not just that drink water too.
  • Take pain killers for your head, ibuprofen if you can take it
  • Keep moving! if you sit still your going to feel worse for longer
  • Use eye-drops if you can
i dont know if this is all good for everyone but if you feel like crap don't let it show, go out looking good make the effort to look good "if you look good you feel good"  you never know it might work in this case!

So what are you hangover cures? any weird or bizarre ones!

Save or Splurge- Makeup Forever Microfinish Powder v ELF High Definition Powder

Hey Beauties!
Im in love with the ELF High Definition Powder, as well as the MUFE HD powder! I honestly dont think there is much different between them.
I have had the MUFE HD Powder before and it was a dream to work with, i didnt make much of a difference when you seen me in person but i did look awesome on Camera.

MUFE HD Powder :
  • Soft like silk
  • Really finely milled
  • ....Expensive
  • It looks nice when its pushed into the skin with a powder puff
  • Looks awesome when you just use a brush for your t-zone
  • Cute Packaging
ELF High Definition Powder:
  • Feels really fine and silky
  • Less Expensive
  • It looks nice when its pushed into the skin with a powder puff
  • Looks awesome when you just use a brush for your t-zone
  • A bit bulky
  • You get lots of product!
  • Comes with a Powder Puff
The Makeup Forever Microfinish Powder is £11 (($30USD)) for 9grams or 0.35fl
The ELF High Definition Powder is £6 (($6USD)) for 8grams or 0.28fl

If you were in the UK there is not much difference so if you could spare 5 extra pounds then you could easily get the MUFE Powder
-But-
If you were in the US the ELF powder might be the best option if you cannot afford the MUFE

MAC Blush

Hey people! <3

As you may know im really lacking in Blushes in my kit, i have the ones from Illamasqua and maybe 3 from ELF but i wanted blushes that i could fit into a palette and take around ((I really like putting things in palettes)), I watched a few videos on youtube and decided MAC would be a good idea, i had Dollymix once before which is a Sheertone Shimmer which is gorgeous. So i bought 6 Blushes from MAC and a Pro Palette.

Pink Swoon- Sheertone
Dollymix- Shimmer Sheertone

I love these because they have the name and they have the little magnet on them so they wont fall out of the palette you have in your hand or working with

I really love these blushes because they are so pigmented but they can be subtle aswell, Harmony makes an awesome contour on any skin tone but a lighter hand is needed for paler tones.
I think these are honestly amazing value for money you are getting 6 blushes for £84 which is an awesome thing because usually they are £17.50 but with a palette they are only £14! I think i got a really good selection of colours for my first ever blush palette.

Rating- 8/10
Love Rush- Sheertone

Springsheen - Shimmer Sheertone
Peaches- Sheertone

Harmony- Matte

I use the 168 for blush, its awesome!

Illamasqua Blush Review

Hey Beauties!

I had to tell you about these and I actually don't know why I haven't told you sooner haha. These blushes are amazing they are super pigmented and long wearing, usually you have to swirl your brush to get good colour pay off with other blushes but with Illamasqua Blush, you do that and would end up looking like a clown haha!
I have the colours Hussy, Lover, Intrigue and Laid which is cream and super pigmented.
Most of Illamasqua Blushes are all Matte colours from White to Red to Bright,Bright Pink and a few peachy colours

The Blushes i own:
From Left to Right:
Hussy, Lover, Laid, Intrigue

Swatches taken with only one swipe! ....only one!

  •  Hussy- is a Bright Candy Pink which looks amazing on pale and darker tones but again this is really pigmented so a light hand is needed!
  • Lover- is a a salmon-y peachy colour which looks really nice on olive skin tones and lighter pale skin tones
  • Cream Blush in Laid- is a Bright Rose Pink with a Dewy Finish. I have to admit i haven't used this much because i like using Hussy or Lover but i have tried it and if you thought the Powder Blusher was pigmented you haven't tried these they are so creamy and long lasting, they arnt oily at all i love how smooth they feel. They would be really good for older skin as they wont set into the skin, wrinkles or pores as a powder would most likely do. Laid also makes an amazing lip colour as well!
  • Intrigue - is a Matte White Highlighter but can be used as a blush for artistic looks, i love this as it is amazing as just a block white highlight i find this would be good for drag as it has no shimmer so pictures would be perfect in saying that would be amazing for photography as well

I really love these because they are so multi purpose, you could use them on your eyes, you could even use Laid on your lips!, It looks absolutely gorgeous. These are £16.50 (($26USD)) each, quite expensive so choose one you like the best! i can say these last such a long time because of the crazy pigmentation.
You can buy them at Illamasqua.com or in any Illamasqua Store aswell as some Sephora Stores in the US.

Rating: 9/10- only because they are a bit chalky but apart from that they are seriously amazing!

Lady Gaga-esque Look

Hey Guys!
Ive done a tutorial on this cool look Lady Gaga did but i made it my own and took inspiration from it, ill explain below what i did and put up a picture of the final look.

I used:

  • MAC Studio Moisture Fix
  • Illamasqua Skin Base SB07
  • MAC Mineralise Skin Finish Natural
  • MAC Paintpot- Painterly
  • MAC Eyeshadow- Atlantic Blue and Carbon
  • Sleek Storm Palette
  • Maybelline Gel Liner
  • Barry M Wink Liner
  • Great Lash Mascara
  • Contour Powder
  • MAC Beauty Powder- Light Sunshine
  • Barry M Lip Paint- 129
Brushes used:
  • Foundation Brush
  • Royal&Langnickel Powder Brush
  • Illamasqua Eyeshadow Brush
  • MAC 219
  • MAC 231
  • MAC 109

Skin Base was applied to the skin in problem areas and blended.
Powder was applied in the T Zone to the places I would get oily.
i applied the MAC paintpot in Painterly all over my lid upto the brow bone, then i used a Blue from the Sleek Eyeshadow Palette (Storm) and placed it on my lid and blended into the crease from there I used the Maybelline Gel Liner to define the crease and above it it to create a harsh cut crease. I then used a Q Tip to  clean up around it to create the defined edges and then put Carbon Eyeshadow under the lower lash line, blended it and filled in the waterline and the upper lash line. i applied mascara on the bottom and the top to finish the look.

Sleek Pout Paint-Review

Sleek have realised these awesome "Paints" for your lips, they kinda remind me of the OCC Liptars but i cant seem to get a hold of them in the UK so when i seen these i was so happy.
They come in a range of colours from White to this amazing bright blue (Peek-a-Bloo)

Taken from there site:
"Pout paint is the new ultimate lip pigment that provides a blast of colour in one purse sized tube! The intensely saturated formula provides outstanding colour pay-off in just one tiny speck, and dries to a long lasting satiny finish. With a wide variety of Pout Paints to choose from you can mix up your very own unique shade using a combination of colours, or simply go for one stand out striking pop of colour."

I can say that these are the most pigmented lip colour, not to mention they stain a lot! so once this is on your lips its on your lips, I went to the Illamasqua counter to buy something and the counter manager, Fiona asked what i had bought she tried the Pout paint in "Mauve Over" (a bright pinky purple) and its safe to say it stained her hand and she couldn't get it off, that's how good they are! I bought them from Superdrug in Glasgow I bought the shades, Pinkini, Peek-a-Bloo, and Mauve Over

I love this colour! <3
The Pout Paints are avaliable from SleekMakeup.com or from Superdrug in the UK from what i remember they are £4 each.
They have a variety of colour to choose from:
