Illumine Oil in Volt

Hey Gorgeous People!! <3

i went shopping today, Yay!! I was in Illamasqua buying a few things and when i said what i wanted i got a gift.
the Illamasqua Illumine Oil, which i would have to admit was not something i would have bought (free gift)
but i have it now and i can say its a really good product because its really pretty (not sure how i could use it). The Illumine Oil is a white oil with a sort of pink purple shimmer through it. it looks really shimmery but really isnt once you put it on and you can hardly see the "glitter" only when it catches the light, it has a nice smell of Coconuts to it which i love
it is really oily as its an oil but it moisturises really well and looks amazing on the skin. If i could change anything about this would be maybe brining out a new Illumine Oil  but a clear one the same as Volt but without the glitter.
This product retails for £32 and you get 100ml of Product

Overall its a difficult product to use in the sense of how would i best use it?

Illumine Oil in Volt

I love the Texture, so soft and "milky" but turns to clear and gives a gorgeous shine and smell

Spirit Gum

Hey Beauties, How are you Beautiful people today?

Im going to be talking about Spirit Gum today, which i love some people hate but i love.
I love it for the reason that its a really tough adhesive so it will stick things down and wont move, it is a liquid when it starts to dry it becomes sticky then it drys and its rock solid, i like using Spirit Gum on my brows when im trying to cover them there are some really go ways such as :

    • Flattening your brows down and applying spirit gum to them to text the texture away
    • Using a brush handle roll it along your brows so it flattens everything down then do another coat
    • Then i would most likely use a Gluestick just to cover the colour and conceal and foundation (( Gluestick- cheaper= better))
I really like using the  Kryolan Mastix Spirit Gum it comes in a small 30ml bottle with a brush applicator, i really love this because a little goes along way i have had this for months and its looks like i havent even used it but i have on numerous occasions

I bought the Middle Sized one for about £4-6 i think i was alot cheaper than i had expected
i got this from Tam Sheppards in Glasgow on Queen Street ((if anyone was wondering))

  • If you were wondering Spirit Gum is used for a number of things: anything you need to stick down use Spirit Gum but only on the face or body! ...NOT ON EYES!! or anywhere near them!
  • Spirit Gum is hard to remove there are special removers that remover Spirit gum but i find that any oil based product will work such as Petroleum Jelly or Vaseline, just leave the Vaseline on the brows for a while then wipe off
  • Anything you can think of just be careful when using it!

MAC Cream Colour Base Review

Hey Beauties

I bought one of these recently in the colour Luna which is a really nice white iridescent colour which is so pretty.
Colour Bases are £13.50 and contain 3.2g of product which is good for the price i think because the pigmentation is really good its not overly WHITE!! (hehe) but i think it would make a really good highlight for above a contour as it can be blended in really well (so you could have a "light vale" or dramatic coverage)

Luna Cream Colour Base

Another thing i really like about these as they can be used as bases for anything some colours were made for the cheeks but some of the colours are versatile which can go either on the cheeks or lips or eyes etc
but you will find a little piece of paper telling you if its safe or not for different areas.
Some of the colours are really nice i saw a bright red colour which you could use as a base for your blush so if  your blush wears off during the day, you still have the Cream Base under the Blush

Sleek Palette- Sunset

Hey Beauties!
i did what i thought of the Sleek Acid Palette and i thought i would just do the same for the more neutral "Sunset" Palette.
This palette has some really nice colours i like how the name "Sunset" matches the Colours as you see the pinks, peaches, golds and even a Blue! as with the Acid Palette these eyeshadows are really pigmented and really easy to blend. I really love the Blue one because its not matte but its really shimmery and has a nice shine to it I did a look with it((down at the bottom))

If your interested in these Palettes you can either buy the from Superdrug or from www.sleekmakeup.com
They are £6.49 each (which is a good price for highly pigmented eyeshadow and 6 of them)

If anyone wants me to show swatches or do looks with these shadows just leave a comment below!

Sleek Palette- Acid

Hey Beauties!

I bought a ton of Makeup the other day and in that i got the Sleek Palettes (Acid, Strom, Sunset, The Original)

I really loveee these eyeshadows they really are amazing, so pigmented as well as easy to blend. as you know i love bright out there colours so its obvious i would try the Acid Palette first!

I love these colours because ive only ever seen colours this bright in cheap eyeshadows with very little pigmentation but these are amazing they have so much pigmentation from just one tap which i love
i would have to say the purples are my favourite
but!

I really like this green, where else would you see a green as bright and pigmented as that.

I love the little palette it comes in as it is very "Sleek"
You get a mirror aswell with it so you can do make-up on the go!

So if you are looking for eyeshadows but you don't want to spend a fortune i would buy these. They are only £6.49 a Pallete avaliable from either Superdrug in the UK or from http://www.sleekmakeup.com/
I would really suggest buying these! amazing!!

6 amazing colours for £6.49  = I think so

((A look i created using the Acid Palette))

Pros of MUA Lipsticks

Benefit's Boi-ing and PlayStick Foundation

Hello Beauties!!
Im going to be doing a little review on Boi-ing and the Playsticks today, hope you like it!

I like this foundation but not for long term use as it tends to cake up on me, as i put a primer under it (Dr Feelgood) and it looked amazing for a few hours and i felt amazing i had a really nice glow it didn't feel to heavy and just looked really nice.
it wasn't until i got home i got pointed out that it had caked up around my nose where i usually get dry so maybe that was the reason. If you have dry skin try using a moisturising or Satin primer to help keep your face moisturised.
I love the smell of these they smell quite like Lavender! which is always good

Benefit's Boi-ing Concealer

I did!! lets get this straight, did like this!
i just went to do the swatch for this concealer and it brought my hand out in a rash, like Eczema when i was a child i have used it on my face before and it fine well the Benefit girls have before and it was fine in stor

-Anyway-
I did like this concealer as it was really creamy and gave really good coverage to cover things i didnt want covered. As it says it is industrial strenght and i agree it works really well you have to use little though or it would cake up so be careful!
It comes in a variety of colours, i like Erase Paste much more!

Eyeshadows!

Hey Beauties

I would have to say im big on eye colour and smokey-ness (haha)
I dont have many eyeshadows but i do have my Favourites. I love MAC Eyeshadows as well as NYX and Illamasqua.

MAC EYESHADOWS
If you want good quality shadows that blend really well these are for you, they come in different colours any colour you could think of and they have a range of different finishes- Matte, Shimmer, Frost etc
My Favourites would have to be Carbon, which is a Matte Black Eyeshadow it is really pigmented and when i say its a black shadow it stays black it doesnt go on greyish like some do but this stays black, which i love.

NYX EYESHADOWS
These are really good shadows for an affordable price, they are really pigmented and blend just as well as the MAC shadows do. My Favourite here must be Luxor, its a really nice pinky purple colour it looks really nice in either the crease to create a cut crease or on the lid

ILLAMASQUA EYESHADOWS
There isnt really anything as good as Illamasqua eyeshadows because they are superpigmented and they have a range of different colours from Neutrals to rainbow colours to whites and blacks!
The best thing about them is that they have a lot of Matte shadows there collection is mainly Matte with a few shimmer or glittery, which is quite amazing cause im my opinion today there is to much sparkle and shimmer in things and sometimes you just want matte colour.
My Favourite Colour would have to be Savage, which is a really deep Matte Purple
