Eyeliner....FOR MEN!

Hey Beauties!
So i have had a few people ask me now how do i apply Eyeliner right? First you need....An Eyeliner....or as some call Guyliner ( Of course)

There are different types of eyeliner that you could use:

  • Pencil- Which is the typical standard form which comes in different colours and is used either to liner the lashes or to line the water liner or below the lashes- Difficulty- Beginner (Easy)

  • Liquid- Which usually comes in a bottle and has a felt tip or a brush applicator, this usually last longer and can be used to created more defined looks this can only be used near the lashes cause trust me if you try to use this on your waterline it will burn! Difficulty- Harder (you have to work up to this as it can be heard to control and once you make a mistake its hard to change)

  • Gel Liner or Cream Liner- These are usually in pots and you use a fine brush or a slanted brush to apply these i would say these are easier to use and more vibrant than pencil they come in all sorts of colours and are easy to use in my opinion. They can dry up fast sometimes but generally good staying power

  • Pen Eyeliners- these are really good they are like liquid liners but you have more control as it is in the shape of a pencil/pen but you do need a steady hand with these i really like them because they give the definition of a Liquid Liner but the control of a Pencil Liner!

  • Cake Eyeliner - these have to be my ultimate favourite because they can be used as thinly as a Liquid liner or really thick like a cream liner. All you need to do is mix some "Sealing Gel" or Water with the cake to make a really thin or thick or whatever you want you have control and it is applied using a brush like Gel or Cream and you have much more control as well (Using "Sealing Gel" will make your liner last longer as it is water proof)

When you are doing eyeliner for men you want to get as close to the lash line as you can so it makes the lashes stand out! but you can do what Pete Wentz does and blend the liner up onto the lid

So close your eye, use any liner you like but when im finished ill list some you might like and run the Wand, Pencil or brush over the top of the lid trying to keep as close as you can to the lash line
for under the eye, Use pencil as you can see from the picture you can smudge it with a brush to get the faded look then pull down on the upper cheek and line the Waterline
Only use either a soft pencil or Gel if it doesn't sting (ELF Cream Liner) works well on the waterline

Save or Splurge- ELF Studio Stipple Brush and MAC 187

Hey Beauties!

Today im going to be doing a Comparison of the E.L.F Studio Stipple Brush and the MAC 187 Duo Fibre Brush
In my opinion i think that the 187 is better just because it is more dense and i think it blends better it is also softer when blending because the fibres are softer and less "Scratchy".
They both work really well i do like them both as they both do the job but i personally prefer the 187 but if you are on a budget then the ELF Studio Stipple Brush is for you

MAC 187= £31 (($50 USD))
Elf Studio Stipple Brush= £3.50 (($3.50USD))
------£21.50 (($46.50 USD)) saving!

I love Duo fibre brushes now i dont think i will go back to the 190 type brush as it tends to make the foundation not blend to well but with the 187 you get that beautiful air brushes look at home. I also find that it tends to use of less product but give just as good coverage
With this brush you want to stipple in dapping motions rather than swirling as you will be blending away the airbrushed look

My overall opinion if you can afford the 187 get it but if not buy the  ELF Studio Stipple Brush as Duo Fibre is the way to go!!

Its just such an amazing brush for that Airbrushed finish, so if you like the airbrushed looked this is the brush for you

My Skin Care Regime

Hey Beauties!

Since you guys asked me to review my Skin Care i shall do it in a blog and a video on youtube!
so i use Lancome because i think its the best for my skin

I use Bi-Facil as a Cleanser (think its for eyes?, but i use it for my face because it works so well)
its 2 liquids that you have to shake to activate it its 2 blue liquids its for sensitive skin so its so soothing
you get 125ml for £20

Then i use a Toner (Tonique Douceur) which is £20.45 from the Lancome Site.  i know some people dont really use them because sometimes they can be all harsh and "tingly" verging on "Burny" but i like this one because it does tingle but it doesnt feel weird it feels clean i like how it makes my skin super soft. they say toners restore the pH balance to your skin the Lancome toner is a Softening Hydrating Toner- Alcohol Free

After using Toner i use the Lancome Genifique Youth Activator (Concentrate) which is £55 for 30ml
Taken from the site :

"Instantly, skin feels silky soft, smooth and supple. Drop by drop, day and night, skin appears breathtakingly beautiful, radiant, even-toned and more refined. Skin looks noticeably younger, as if infused with life"

I feel like it does make the skin look nice and give an amazing youth to it it makes my skin really soft i love it expensive but its worth it in my opinion
After i either use Day cream or Night cream depending on ...if its day or night, but i only tone and cleanse and use Genifique once a day

Illasmasqua Lipsticks

Hey Beauties!

What can i say i actually love these Lipsticks they are maybe the best ive used. they are really soft they glide on so well they are very very very pigmented as you can see you could use a Medium Pencil to line the lips fill in the lips then add lipstick.i love how you can change there colours by putting different Liner underneath the lipstick.

My Favourite is- Sophie Medium Pencil to line the lips blend in and then apply Mould Cream Pigment to the lips as a colour blend in and then apply Underworld to the centre and blend left to right and using Intrigue to highlight above the cupids bow. Each lipstick costs £16.50 and you get 4g in each tube

Taken from the Illamasqua.com website

"Let your lips speak volumes. Indulge in colour-intense lipstick with a highly pigmented formula, available in a choice of flawless finishes, from matt to glossy. Illamasqua Lipstick glides on smoothly, for the perfect all-night pout."

Underworld(purple shine with Pink undertones)
